Reasons Not to Come

Most trainers can immediately see the benefits of gaining a place at the leading UK conference for learning and development professionals but for those not wanting to commit to attending in 2012, we've produced this helpful list of excuses:

It's too early to commit!

Consider this:

  • We've sold over 50% of the tickets already so you'll need to act fast or you may miss out!
  • We understand that you may not yet know how your diary will look in March 2012 but if you book your ticket now you'll know you're busy and can plan other work commitments accordingly.
  • Time is running out to get your ticket. If you don’t book soon, you might lose your place.

I don't have the budget!

Consider this:

  • Your budget might not have been finalised yet. If not, let us know when it will be and we'll give you a call then to book your place.
  • You can spread the cost of your ticket across two financial years by paying a deposit now and paying the balance later. Talk to us to find out more.
  • Do you have a budget available for your development? Trainers' Conference is for you, the trainer, designed to inspire and give you new tools, ideas and approaches to use that will help you release other people’s potential. What would be a better investment in you?
  • The benefits that you’ll gain from attending the conference really will outweigh the cost. In fact, can you afford not to come?

The workshops are not relevant to me!

Consider this:

  • Who today can say that discrimination, return on investment, evaluation and dealing with change are not relevant subjects?

I don't see the benefit of attending!

Consider this:

  • Nearly 80% of the tickets sold for 2012 are to customers returning for a second, third or fourth time.
  • The time you spend networking at the conference will be invaluable. You will have the perfect opportunity to make new important contacts within the industry, maybe find that perfect mentor and even gain new clients. Can you make time for that?
  • Training consultants have left the conference with new work opportunities and everyone leaves with new contacts willing to share information and ideas. How can that not be beneficial to you?

It's a luxury!

Consider this:

  • How can your learning and development be a luxury – it's as important as anyone else's.
  • You'll have the opportunity to gain new skills, ideas and inspiration for your training interventions.

It's too far to travel!

Consider this:

  • Every year delegates travel from overseas to attend Trainers' Conference, recognising it the leading UK based conference for learning and development professionals.
